The School of Environmental Health Technology provides up to six courses.  Our specialist programmes are the best possible starting point for your journey to becoming an accredited environmental health professional. We will help you develop skills in the environmental health field, as well as an understanding of the core policies and laws surrounding the subject. We have specialist tutors and lecturers with specialist facilities for teaching and learning.  This includes food inspection laboratory and a microbiology laboratory. 

Our graduates have excellent career prospects. They are adequately equipped to be employed in the Ministry of Health, Teaching hospitals, Private hospitals and Clinics as well as in schools and other relevant establishments.

We are aware that after some years of field experiences, many graduates may consider establishing private clinics. Hence, our programmes structure is suitably designed to build Entrepreneurship skills, as part of the courses in the curriculum.
