In the Community Health Officers Training School, our focus is to train and develop our students to be well equipped, to enable them promote health and wellbeing within the communities.  Our academic staff are professionals who understand the challenging needs of our healthcare system and so, our teachings are focused on providing the highest quality training to our students.  This will prepare our graduates for the real challenges that face health practitioners in primary health.

Our programme prepares students for many career paths in the healthcare field.  They are adequately equipped to be employed in the Ministry of Health, Teaching hospitals, Private hospitals and Clinics as well as in schools and other relevant establishments.

We are aware that after some years of field experiences, many graduates may consider establishing private clinics. Hence, our programmes structure is suitably designed to build Entrepreneurship skills, as part of the courses in the curriculum.
